16th July 2009 - Fountain Gate and New Items added to my roon :)

Went to fountain Gate today and got all the items that i been wanted to buy.....



Finally got myself a personal kettle. OMG!! Finally i can have water to drink haha.. You cannot imagine that i havent been drinking alot plain water for a couple of days.. haha The kettle in the kitchen is so so dirty and really dont want to use that to boil water!!!! And, i will have to use the pot to boil water everythin i need water... Its so so troublesome. . .

But now, i can boil water in my room and had water whenever i want :) its very xin fu lo :)








Got myself a HP printer. It is ex to print in Uni, thought that it will be cheaper and more convenient to have a printer for my personal use. Will have to print all the lecture notes myself and so on. . .





Fully equipped already. Time to prepare myself for my Uni studies starting from monday.

FINALLY!!! Got myself BEER!!!!

OMG!!! I like this beer man!!! Havent had beer for sometime. Finally go and buy some myself :) Recommended by a Singaporean. There is abit of Lime flavor and tastes good :)

I should go around and taste different type of beer :)

This was my dinner for tonight. Potato with cheese, Onion with egg and bread. I dont know what was the bowl of gravy call. But, it tastes quite good. The ingredients were, bacon, onion and lamb. Was cooked by the hongkong guy :) He can cook man... hahaha

I nearly forgotten the Most Most important thing for today...

I got a NEW ROOM MATE!!!! He is so so CUTE!!!! I seems to have fallen for him the moment i saw him!!!

He came to my room and find my room clean and tidy :) And seems to like my room alot. And me i guess :)

15th July 2009 - Slacking day

Just finish a big packet of salad for dinner. . . . . been slacking, downloading music and checked my sem timetales and so on. . . . . Need to know more people here... if not really boring la. . .

Done my laundry today and will need to iron them soon. If not will be left with nothin to wear soon....

Shall end there today. Oh ya, tml goin to fountain gate for shoppin :)

15th July 2009 - Speechless day

Was watching some japanese drama show and tot of drinking coke. Maybe i got too much of food and needed soft drinks. Got dressed, took my money from my piggy bank and went out. Was happily walking and realise that I DIDNT BRING MY KEY OUT!!!! That key allow me to access my room and the building and i didnt bring it with me!!!

Abit side track: While walking towards the vending machine, someone said hello to me. But i was so panic that i duno how to respond. hahaha... that person must be thinking this woman got no manners at all!!! But was pretty lost as to wat i shd do at the moment ma... hahaha I think i really feel sorry about the person haha

Managed to intercom my frd from outside the building and used her phone to call the security guard to open the door for me. OMG, its so so embarrass!!!! hahaha

I asked the guard, does these type of things happened v often? Ans: It does happen. But, not very frequent!!! hahaha.. OMG

After this incident, i guess i will never ever forget to bring my key out anymore..

14th July 2009 - 2nd cooked food

Finally!!! the orientation is over!! HUrray!! However, it means that school will be starting soon
:( Scary . . . . . . .

Saw that bill?? thats the list of things i bought today :) Nothin but food. Since the supermarket is so so far, tot that these food might be able to lasts me for one week i guess

Cooked with the people from hongkong again. Dun the food look great?? Had too much food already. I think im really going to grow real fat soon sia.

The soup was cooked by me and the rest cooked by the other 2 :)

I realise that i can really cook quite :) Missed the time where i have to wash my own dishes and clear the stuffs after my meal. The feeling was really great!! Training for my marriage... hahaha

13th July 2009 - Induction Night

Went for some briefing of what to take note being a resident in Berwick Residential. Was quite an interesting one :)

After that, met up with some singaporeans and had some drinks. OMG..... my level had decrease so so fast. Just 2 bottles. Feeling quite tipsy.. haha... Maybe i should really drink more to improve my drinking.Iit is somethin i have to do to know more people around here. And i did manage to know more people here!!! They are like owls, dont have to slp and stuffs like tat. Met some cute guys too..... But, if they are to know how old i am, i believe im really going to freak them out.. haha

Was telling a singaorean guy about GG and VS. He was so shock and had promised to bring him down hahaha..... So, my dear buddies, prepare for crazy and fun nights when im back ya...

Had another orientation tml and i guess im goin to be late for it again.. haha....

While i was having the beers, i was missing my sisters and **. How i wish i m in singapore at that moment.

Anyway, i shall be back really soon for all the funs and everytin :)

11th July 2009 - Planning of subjects

I am such a blur queen. Didnt know about how to plan my sem subjects and so on. Until today, a senior put in the effort to plan and explain the details to me.

It looks like i am going to have a stressful life in Uni sia.

However, it is really nice to have frds here and enjoying my uni life at the moment. This statement might change when my class starts.. hahaha...

11th July 2009 - 1st Cooked Meal

Been here for some days and today is my 1st day cooked in the kitchen. Of course these are achieved through the help of my 2 hongkong friends :)

It was a very nice meal. Didnt try out my cutting and cooking skills ever since i was back from japan. The feeling is great. :)

Shall improve my cooking skills more so that i can find a husband in the future... hahaha...

BUt......

Dont the kitchen looked very very untidy?? It is not my doings ok. It is already like this when i wanted to cook. I guess this is the most horrible area in the whole building.. hahaha.

10th July 2009 - Friday NIght

It is friday night... Boiler... VS.... And yet, i am in aussis, staying in my room alone.

On fridays, i should be either at boiler or VS or some happening clubs. BUt now.... It is indeed pretty lonely. Misses those crazy girls and guys :(

But, its ok :) time will fly fast and will be back soon to my great buddies to party and be crazy again :) I guess today will remind them of me as it is Friday :)

As the sun is coming out, someone came to my mind. Sisters, im sorry. It is a guy that came to my mind.

Thinking how is he and whether did he manage to go home in one piece tonight.. haha..

How long is he going to rem me dont really seems to be impt to me anymore. The fact is, there is something in btw us that i will always remember as a sweet memory in my heart ever :) isnt that sounds gross... hahaha...

Hey Daphne, Dun forget that, you promise to tk good care of him oh... hahaha...

And Jerene, you are his SISTER hor. Must tk care of him too oh :)

10th July 2009 - Shopping Mall and RICE!!!!!

This is Fountain Gate Shopping Center. Didnt know that there are so so so many shops !!! Was really excited when i saw all the shops.. hahaha..

The first time im there, didnt manage to shop much as was 1st time there and left early as did not want to go back too late.

But today, had roughly figure out that this is consider a big shopping center that really sells quite alot of stuffs!! (Of course it cannot be compared with city) . But i guess this is sufficient specially it is located in a berwick (Boring place).

After coming here for few days, this is my 1st day i had RICE for dinner!! FInally man!! I dunno if does the food really taste great or not. All i know was, There is rice!!!!!! OH MY GOD!! RICE!!!

As most of frds know, i will die without rice. You cannot imagine how happy i m when im eating it.

In the end, i only manage to finish the rice and not the ingredients. cos, WO SHI FAN TONG MA!! hahaha

10th July 2009 - Mobile Phone

Had a very very nice slp and went to Fountain Gate to get my mobile phone.

Finally got my Mobile. Isnt this phone nice :)

Its fully touch screen phone. TIll now, still trying to get use to the phone.

9th July 2009 - Bank And CIty tour

Thanks to Clara(the hong kong girl), her friend from Hong Kong brought us to the bank to open an account. (ps: can start transfering money to me already ok :) No need pai sai ok hahaha)

Then, we headed to the berwick train station and took an hour plus train to the city. The whole place look very familiar to me as i had already travelled with yvonne the other time. Therefore, did not take any pictures.

It was actually quite a boring one. Met some Malaysian and i guess i was the one acting cool pa. Didnt manage to click with them quite well. Anyway, since someone put in the effort to bring us around, had tried to enjoyed myself as much as i could :)

Came back hostel about 10pm plus. Gossiping here and there. viewing other people room, getting ideas of where to get cheap stuffs etc.... went back to my room for my dinner.

Oh ya, i have been having bread for my lunch and dinner for about 3 days.... The feeling isnt really that great. But, was pretty lazy to cook and kitchen was always crowded. i guess i just need to know more people here pa

So... have to continue my bread meals... hahaha...

Did not regret to stay in the hostel. Though it is far from the city and was pretty inconvenient, i believe i will learn and know more things here.

It is 2.49am now. Sleeping soon. Tml still going to fountain gate to get the remaining stuffs....

8th July 2009 - Supermarket

The supermarket is about 20 minutes walk from uni. It is really far man. No choice. As this is the nearest in this area. Luckily it is winter now, if summer, sigh.... i think i will just go for diet... Im not going to walk under the HOT SUN man..

Surprising, the sun is really sunny though its winter at the moment. It can be pretty warm too....

One more thing, Clara, the hong kong girl, she can walk real fast like me too :) We got the same pace haha

8th July 2009 - Enrolment day

Overslept and late for enrolment.. hahaha...

Finally got my student card (The pic really look sucks!!!) haha

Got my student diary as well.

Just as i was walking back to my hostel, i made my 1st friend in MOnash University.

She is from Hong Kong and arrived the same day as me. We had MacDonald for Lunch (The nearest and only place for food near my Uni). Then, went to supermarket again to continue my groceries.

7th July 2009 - 1st day in Australia (Night)

It is my 1st night here. It was very quiet outside and the whole room was so so so quiet. No sound at all. Somehow felt quite uncomfortable. Therefore, decided to on some music and try to get to sleep from there.

But, thanx to Jerene, got this bear from her. It does help abit. It helped to comfort and accompanied me.

Of course, My group of friends who gave me the camera helped too. If not, i will not have the chance to take the photo of this cutie and show to you :)

I had named this bear a name :) Those who can guess, it shall be that. :)

7th July 2009 - 1st day in Australia (Day)

Arrived very early in the morning. Surprising, the airport was pretty crowded. Lined up for custom clearance cos i got FIVE PACKETS OF INSTANT NOODLES in my bag. Because of that, i waited for ONE HOUR PLUS... hahahaha....

Checked in into my hostel. It is so much better than i expected. It is clean and cosy.

We will be having share kitchen and dining area. (Though have not really use them till now.. hahaha)

After having a short rest, i went to Fountain Gate to do some shopping. Took a 15 mins bus and bought......

My 1st Metlink ticket :) For travelling in Zone 2 only

There was actually a little joke here. I took a bus there. Happily go shopping and bought too much stuffs. Got abit of difficult to carry the stuffs back. The best part was, i could not find the bus stand to find the way back to sch!!! walked aroung Fountain Gate hoping to find a cab. But, no cab at all!!!! Asked a bus driver, but dont seems to be willing to help.

Got a strong urge to throw all the stuffs away and find a way back. Then.... I saw a bus passing by me with stating...... 828 Berwick Station!!! i was stanted and started to find the right bus stand to take the bus. Finally, managed to find it :)

After im back, i realised that i was pretty brave. Running around though i am new to the place and find the way there and back myself... hahahaha It should be a very good start to my new life in Australia :)

Wasnt able to use internet for the whole day. THerefore, packed my stuffs nicely and it looked like this...

Looked tidy ya.... But, trust me, my place do not look like this anymore.... it is so untidy now!! hahaha

6th July 2009- The day i left SIngapore, my family and my dear friends... :(

I didnt know that i have so many good friends that care and love me so much. I really feel very fortunate to have them by my side. They touched me for my farewell and sending off in the airport. They always wanted the best for me.

Sadly, i left them and came to australia to study. However, i know that they will still continue to give me support and wait for my return and b crazy with them again hahaha

THere is also a group of chongster who always want me to get drunk. Sad to say, i always got a group of supportive sisters to help me :) I really had alot of fun few months before i came to australia. It is really weird with them not by my side.

Misses the gossips and sms that we always do.

Dear frds, please be save and take good care of yourself ok. I will be strong here and study hard :) So, dont worry for me ok. I shall c u girls really soon in dec....

I love you girls :)

Of course, i love my mum too. She is the one who will be worrying for me everyday. I had left her for 3 years and there, i am leaving her for another 2 years again. But, i will pay back the time i did not spend with her when i am back. I will miss her alot too... muack muack....

My sis, brother and younger sis, they are really supportive and giving in so much to me. :) Thank you so much bors and sis... i love you :)
